Repair Service
You gave a new opportunity to the material of your Globe Hope product, so why not give your product itself?
We want to help you keep your Globe Hope product usable for as long as possible. That's why we offer our customers a long-term repair service.
If your Globe Hope bag or garment has seen some wear and tear on your travels, don't throw it away! We repair the product free of charge for one year from the date of purchase.
We are also happy to repair products after the first year for a small fee. However, we hope for fairness and understanding! For example, a product purchased ten years ago that has been repaired and patched up by yourself may sometimes be impossible to save. We're only human beings - skilled in our work, but we can't work miracles.
How does the repair service work?
Deliver your Globe Hope product clean to our store in Nummela (Harjutie 14, 03100 Nummela). You can also send the product by mail; in that case, please contact our customer service via email at info@globehope.com first. We repair the product either at our own repair facility or send it to our partner, from where it will return to us for inspection. We will notify you when the product is repaired and ready for pickup at our store or on its way back to you by mail.
Repair times vary depending on the product, the required repairs, whether we can perform the repair ourselves, or if it requires different machinery, ordering parts, as well as any holiday or peak times.
If the product was originally purchased less than 12 months ago, the repair service is free of charge. Otherwise, the repair service pricing is as follows:
- Zipper replacement: €30
- Repair of metal parts on bags: Small bags €30 / Large bags €40
- Replacement of metal hooks: Small hooks €15 / Large hooks €17
- Small sewing repairs: €15
- Major sewing repairs: €30-50
