Hope's garments are made from recycled yarn, composed of 60% cotton
waste from the textile industry and 40% recycled plastic bottles
(recycled polyester). This innovative yarn is the result of many years
of development, and its cotton to polyester ratio was chosen to make the
yarn as sustainable as possible. However, recycled fiber is not quite
the same as yarn made from virgin raw materials, so it is important to
give your garment the utmost care and attention.
Air
your garment so that the washing interval is as long as possible. Only
machine wash your garment if stains or odors cannot be removed by airing
or hand washing on site. In this case, wash the garment in the washing
machine at maximum of 40°C . Avoid washing clothes with sharp metal
parts, such as zippers, at the same time. The metal parts can contribute
to the formation of films on the garment or perforate it.
Dry
the washed garment in an area protected from sunlight. Do not tumble
dry. Iron the dry garment on the wrong side of the fabric.
If the garment becomes linty, use a lint remover or a lint comb. Do not use your fingers to remove lint.
