KASTE Bag - Grey Rouhea Shoulder Bag with Seatbelt
KASTE in grey is a slightly rougher version of the familiar model. The seatbelt surface shows the material's past life more clearly, and the shade is more vibrant and matte than most options. That's what gives this bag its personality.
The grey KASTE is not ironed. It's timeless, but a little rougher - a bag where the story of the material is a prominent part of the look. The shade works for everyday life and the workday, and the clean design makes it a versatile crossbody bag that goes with you from situation to situation.
The belts are sourced from car dismantlers, cleaned and sorted before use. Due to the nature of the material, the surface may show minor signs of wear, braiding or tonal variations. These details make each bag slightly individual.
The bag has a zipped inner pocket to keep your essentials organised. An adjustable and detachable strap allows the bag to be worn over the shoulder or across the body. The strap is interchangeable (additional straps sold separately).
KASTE is one of the best rated bags in our collection, and the grey version will appeal especially to those who appreciate the authenticity of the material and its raw look.
Features:
- Belt surface: a durable material made from recycled belts, showing the material's past life.
- Adjustable and interchangeable strap: wear as a shoulder bag or crossbody bag over the body - the look can be customised with separate straps.
- Zippered interior pocket: keep your phone and other essentials within easy reach.
KASTE in grey is the bag of choice when you want a bag that lets the material's past life show through - and lasts through year after year of use.
What does the KASTE bag hold?
A KASTE bag can hold a notebook a little smaller than A5, or a half-litre water bottle and everyday essentials. The inside pocket holds most phones.

Materials & production

Surplus leather
Leather is the production of surplus cowhide. The surface treatment is part of the original finish of the leather, not made by Globe Hope, and makes each product a little unique.
Recycled seat belt
The grey seat belts in the bag have been recovered from the dismantling trucks. Before use, the belts are cleaned and sorted. Due to the previous life of the material, the belts may show minor signs of use and differences in shade and colour. These details make each product slightly individual.
Care instructions
As the KASTE bag contains leather parts, please follow the care instructions for the leather product:
Treat the leather parts of your new bag with a moisture-protecting spray. This protects the bag from moisture or dirt. Take care of your bag regularly with moisturising conditioner.
Handle the bag with clean hands to avoid grease spills. However, if stains do appear, remove them as soon as possible with a cotton cloth.. Avoid excessive water, but use a soap suitable for leather, such as ecological soap. Marseille-soap.
If your bag gets wet, let it dry in peace and quiet, out of direct sunlight. Once dry, you can treat the leather with a moisturising conditioner. Never scrub a wet bag, as rubbing may damage the surface of the leather.
Individual stains on a seat belt can be removed by brushing or using a damp cloth, for example with bile soap.
Choose options
Väri on kiva ja kokokin sopiva/mieleinen, mutta pelkkä avotasku sisällä on huono. Toivottavasti laukkuun lisättäisiin vetoketjullinen sisätasku.
Kompakti ja omaperäinen laukku.
