KASTE Bag - Burgundy Shoulder Bag with Seatbelt
KASTE is a burgundy shoulder bag that combines a clean shape with a deep, understated tone. The shiny belt surface adds vibrancy to the surface, while the burgundy colour makes the bag a striking yet timeless choice.
This burgundy bag works for everyday, workday and evening outings - adding colour to an outfit without making the overall look restless. Its clean design and compact size make it a versatile crossbody bag that goes with you from occasion to occasion.
The shiny belt has been given a new life as a bag, and the strong look of the material makes KASTE recognisable. Inside, a zipped pocket keeps your essentials organised. An adjustable and detachable strap allows the belt to be worn over the shoulder or across the body.
KASTE is one of the best reviewed bags in our collection, and the burgundy version has also received praise from customers.
Features:
- Seatbelt surface: a durable and shiny material made from a second-quality seatbelt, giving the bag its distinctive look.
- Adjustable and interchangeable strap: use as a shoulder bag or crossbody bag over the body - the look can be customised with separate straps.
- Zippered interior pocket: keep your phone, keys and other small items easily accessible.
KASTE in burgundy is the bag of choice when you want a bag that adds depth to your outfit and will stand up to use year after year.
What does the KASTE bag hold?
The KASTE bag can hold a notebook slightly smaller than A5, or a half litre water bottle and everyday essentials. The inside pocket holds most phones.
Product details
Size: Width 23 m, height 15 cm, depth 5 cm. Our seamstresses work exactly according to the measurements given, but small individual differences may occur between products.
Inside pocket: 20 x 11 cm.
Strap: Seat belt 71-136 cm + metal parts (approx. 10 cm). Belt width 4,8 cm.
Colour: Burgundy. Due to the recycled materials used to make the bag, each bag is unique (there may be slight variations in the surface pattern of the leather and the red pattern and shade of the belt).
Materials & production
Country of production: Finland. The burgundy KASTE bags are hand-sewn by Katri in Tampere.
Material from: Sorted and cleaned in Finland. The materials of this bag are surplus leather, and second quality safety straps. The lining of the bag is a surplus blended fabric. New parts are the metal zipper and other metal parts.
Designer: Miisa Asikainen
Surplus leather
Leather is the production of surplus cowhide. The surface treatment is part of the original finish of the leather, not made by Globe Hope, and makes each product a little unique.
Second quality safety belt
The seat belt is a second-rate production of a British seat belt manufacturer. For one reason or another, the belts have not met the criteria for use as seat belts - for example, there may have been a slight discrepancy in the tie. The material has been supplied to us in this colour and the shade has not been subsequently modified. The manufacturer's wide range of products for different applications, such as vehicles, aircraft and amusement park equipment, is sometimes reflected in surprisingly bold colours.
Care instructions
As the KASTE bag contains leather parts, please follow the care instructions for the leather product:
Treat the leather parts of your new bag with a moisture-protecting spray. This protects the bag from moisture or dirt. Take care of your bag regularly with moisturising conditioner.
Handle the bag with clean hands to avoid grease spills. However, if stains do appear, remove them as soon as possible with a cotton cloth.. Avoid excessive water, but use a soap suitable for leather, such as ecological soap. Marseille-soap.
If your bag gets wet, let it dry in peace and quiet, out of direct sunlight. Once dry, you can treat the leather with a moisturising conditioner. Never scrub a wet bag, as rubbing may damage the surface of the leather.
Individual stains on a seat belt can be removed by brushing or using a damp cloth, for example with bile soap.

Väri on upea. Tykkään ❣️.
Vastasi odotuksia, kaunis väri, siistä työtä. Vähän pieni, mutta täytyy valita mukaan mahtuvat. Olen hyvin tyytyväinen.
Olin jo pidemmän aikaa haaveillut tästä laukusta. Olen iloinen että ostin sen. Kaunis väri ja laukkuun mahtuu yllättävän paljon. Ihanan leveä olkahihna tekee päivittäisestä käytöstä mukavaa. Toivottavasti saan käyttää tätä monta vuotta.
