Return or exchange

The customer has a 14-day right of exchange and return under the Finnish Consumer Protection Act
. The right of return applies only to unused and saleable
products in their original packaging with the hangtag attached.

We offer free exchange and return within Finland. For exchanges and returns outside Finland, the customer is responsible for the transport costs.

Please attach the return form that came with your order and use the return label that came with the package or ask us for the return code by e-mail (info@globehope.com).

We do not accept returns more than 14 days after delivery.

Once the return has been accepted, the money will be refunded using the same payment method
used to place the original order. We will not refund any additional costs incurred for express or
home delivery.

KASTE Frost is the newest colour in the collection. The familiar shape and recognisable seatbelt surface stay as they are, so the bag works just as naturally in everyday life as it does in smarter settings.

KASTE is compact yet practical, and its clean design is easy to combine with different outfits. The timeless model makes sure the bag doesn't stay in the cupboard but goes with you year after year.

KASTE is one of the bestsellers in our collection and one of our best-rated bags. Frost gives the familiar model a new look, but the usability stays the same: a compact yet functional size that comes along both by day and in the evening.

Inside there is a lining and a zipped inner pocket for your essentials. The adjustable, detachable strap lets you wear it as a shoulder bag or crossbody. The strap can also be swapped for another one (additional straps sold separately).

What fits in the KASTE bag?

The KASTE bag fits, for example, a notebook slightly smaller than A5 or a half-litre water bottle, along with your everyday essentials. The inner pocket holds most phones.

Product details

Size: Width 23 cm, height 15 cm, depth 5 cm. Our seamstresses work precisely to the given measurements, but small individual differences between products may occur.

Zipped inner pocket: 18 x 10 cm.

Strap: Seatbelt strap 71–136 cm + metal fittings (approx. 10 cm). Strap width 4.8 cm.

Colour: Frost.

Materials & production

Country of manufacture: Finland. KASTE bags in Frost are sewn by hand by Katri in Tampere.

Material: Sorted and cleaned in Finland. The materials of this bag are surplus leather and B-grade seatbelt webbing. The lining of the bag is surplus blended fabric. The new parts are the metal zip and the other metal fittings.

Surplus leather

The leather is surplus cowhide from production. The surface treatment is part of the leather's original finish, not done by Globe Hope, and it makes every product slightly individual.

B-grade seatbelt webbing

The seatbelt webbing comes from the B-grade production of a British seatbelt manufacturer. For one reason or another, the belts did not meet the criteria required for seatbelt use – there may have been a small deviation in the weave, for example. The material reached us already in this colour, and the shade has not been altered afterwards. The manufacturer's broad production for different applications, such as vehicles, aircraft and amusement park rides, sometimes shows up in surprisingly bold colours as well.

Care instructions

As the KASTE bag has leather parts, please follow the care instructions for leather products:

Treat the leather parts of a new bag with a water-repellent spray. This protects the bag from moisture and dirt. Care for the bag regularly with a moisturising conditioner.

Handle the bag with clean hands to avoid grease marks. If stains do appear, remove them as soon as possible with a cotton cloth. Avoid using too much water, but do use a soap suitable for leather, such as ecological Marseille soap.

If your bag gets wet, let it dry slowly away from direct sunlight. Once the bag has dried, you can treat the leather parts with a moisturising conditioner. A wet bag should never be rubbed, as rubbing may damage the surface of the leather.

Individual stains on the seatbelt webbing can be removed by brushing or with a damp cloth, using gall soap, for example.
